JOB DESCRIPTION: Shift M-F 6am-2:30pm
Position Profile:
Performs cycle counts to meet quotas for inventory tracking. Performs daily inspection and cleaning quotas for 30-day SQF cleaning requirements Perform counts of critical items, shortages and warehouse out-of-stock inventory. Ability to perform in-depth research on any count discrepancy and find the root cause of the issue. This includes being able to document the issue and explain the research to management. Verify POs and receiving quantity. Understand and correct errors made by other departments while documenting issues. Coordinate and take the lead of other individuals assigned
to assist with cycle counting. Use computer applications to account for inventory and track progress daily using Microsoft programs such as Excel. Monitor product use-by dates and conduct audits of FIFO conformance by staging and shipping departments. Assign/Create bin locations as needed. Execute product transfers. Follow through on product disposition forms by Quality, including physically and systemically adjusting or removing inventory from warehouse. Uses forklift to move product and materials in warehouse.
Job Duties and Accountabilities:
- Safety. Works in a safe manner. Complies with safe work practices at all times. Completes forklift certification as required. Reports unsafe conditions or situation to supervisor or management.
- Food Safety. Complies with and executes Good Manufacturing Practices. Recognizes non-compliance and takes action to correct or report observed violations of GMPs.
- Safely operates forklift and other material moving equipment. Demonstrates the ability to safely effectively and safely operate forklifts and material moving equipment. Meets productivity requirements for assigned work. Work is performed in a warehouse and production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to safely operate a forklift or other material moving equipment and to physically handle product and material throughout the day. May be required to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Performs cycle counts. Performs cycle counts on warehouse inventories based on cycle count schedule. Accurately enters inventory counts into the inventory system, recognizing and identifying any resulting inventory variances. Monitors product use dates and FIFO conformance and reports any identified issues with product use dates or FIFO execution. Identifies and reports inventory conditions that fall below acceptable levels- damaged product, unlabeled product, product staged incorrectly, etc.
- Reconciles inventory variances. Reconciles variances identified in cycle counts, or otherwise identified. Able to identify the variance and cause of variance for each variance identified. Reports inventory variances and cause for variances to management. If unable to identify cause for variance, takes information to management for additional review. Makes adjustment to inventory to correct for variances.

Understands organizational mesh points and potential synergies. Integrates team efforts across work team. Understands available resources and utilizes those resources when appropriate.

Incumbent Profile:
Education and Experience Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of documented work experience in a warehouse environment, performing inventory counts and reconciling inventory variances
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and software used to manage inventory, including Excel
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Must be performance and quality driven.
- Forklift certified, or able to be forklift certified within 30 days of hire
