Order Selector- 2nd Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION: 2nd Shift Positions Moday-Friday 2pm-10:30 pm, .50 Shift Differential included

Position Profile:

Builds pallets of finished goods product for shipping, ensuring accurate loads and inventory adjustments.  Puts product in warehouse and records location of product in warehouse inventory system. Accurately completes required documentation and uses a scanning device to record inventory transactions. Safely operates a forklift to move product and materials in the warehouse and production areas. Loads materials onto and unloads materials from trailers and places materials and products in assigned warehouse space. As well as other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Accountabilities:

• Safety.  Works in a safe manner. Complies with safe work practices at all times. Completes forklift certification as required. Reports unsafe conditions or situations to supervisor or management.
• Food Safety.  Complies with and executes Good Manufacturing Practices. Recognizes non-compliance and takes action to correct or report observed violations of GMPs.

 Safely operates forklift and other material moving equipment.  Demonstrates the ability to safely effectively and safely operate forklifts and material moving equipment.  Meets productivity requirements for assigned work.  Work is performed in a warehouse and production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to safely operate a forklift or other material moving equipment and to physically handle product and material throughout the day. May be required to lift up to 65 pounds.

• Inventory Control.  Complies with and executes warehouse inventor processes and procedures including scanning inventory, accurately completing inventory documentation including pick sheets and material movement documentation. Requires accuracy and attention to detail in placing material and product in warehouse locations as well as preparing loads for shipment.
• Teamwork and Collaboration.   Actively engages in production and team meetings, and provides timely feedback to the team regarding work topics.  Understands organizational mesh points and potential synergies. Integrates team efforts across the work team.  Understands available resources, and utilizes those resources when appropriate.
• Leaderhip  Acts with integrity.  Treats others with dignity and respect.  Models behavior that is consistent with Red monkey Foods’ Values.  Delivers on commitments and deadlines.

Incumbent Profile:

Education and Experience Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Documented work experience operating a forklift, and the ability to be forklift certified within 30 days of hire

• Must be performance and quality driven.
• Perform all duties assigned by Logistics Supervisor and DC Manager.

*Some positions do require a Class E license or the ability to obtain one within the first 2 weeks of employment.*
