Position Profile:
Responsible for development, delivery, and administration of the Training and Development Program, systems, and processes for Red Monkey Foods. Training programs include Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and position/skills training, as well as professional development. Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop content, target audiences, and delivery methodology for employee training. Collaborates with organizational leadership to develop and execute training schedules for targeted audiences. Develops, monitors and publishes training KPI’s. Manages training records and retention to ensure compliance with required regulatory training.
Job Accountabilities and Duties:
- Training Program – Companywide
- Responsible for strategically driving the facility training efforts, utilizing input and direction from all plant departments to develop training programs based on need, continuous improvement, and on-the-job training; work with subject matter experts to develop and implement the training plan, coordinating a facilitator, and evaluating the training within specific timelines.
- Implements and conducts specific development and training programs on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate and perform new employee orientations.
- Facilitates monthly training sessions per Training Schedule
- Accountable for program effectiveness measurement and revisions.
- Assists in the development of specific programs and action plans to address established training and development priorities.
- Identifies relevant “best practices” through benchmarking and research; recommends specific processes, tools, and methodologies to address priorities.
- Manage Training Program records for all employees.
- Assist in training and implementation of new initiatives and programs.
- Partner with HR, Quality Assurance, Safety, and Operations to identify, develop, and administer training that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Teamwork and Collaboration. Acts as a key member of the Continuous Improvement Team. Actively engages in team meetings and provides timely feedback to team regarding training and development topics. May provide and/or receive input from across functional boundaries. Understands organizational mesh points and potential synergies. Integrates team efforts across business segments and channels. Understands available resources, both in the organization and outside of the organization and utilizes those resources when appropriate.

Incumbent Profile:
Education and Experience
- BS degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 3 years of progressive work experience in Training and Development, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Good analytical ability, including the ability to analyze statistical data and make sound recommendations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of training and development programs and practices in a manufacturing environment
- Must be innovative and performance and quality driven.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or relevant software packages
