Role Overview:
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist ensures the smooth flow of inventory by managing incoming stock, maintaining organization and quality control, and assisting with general warehouse operations. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stocking and general warehouse duties with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Oversee and manage incoming inventory, including verification of shipments and product counts.
- Label and maintain product quality, ensuring proper organization and storage.
- Assist with unloading trucks twice a week during late-night or early-morning shifts.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain organization in the warehouse, keeping aisles and storage areas clean and free of clutter.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Inspect products for damage or defects and report issues to the warehouse supervisor.
- Utilize warehouse software or systems to update inventory records and track stock movement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Capable of prolonged standing throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs frequently during shifts.
- Availability to work Sundays (this is required).
- Flexibility to handle late-night/early-morning truck unloads twice a week.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems as they arise.
- Experience with inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy and efficient warehouse.
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience is a plus but not required.
