A busy multi farrier practice servicing clients in Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey, is looking for a hardworking and motivated person to join their team. Some travel to Florida and South Carolina is required From November till April, approx. 1 week per month. The job is physically demanding, involving handling horses year round regardless of temperature and weather, and often includes long hours. The pay is based on experience and increases with skill level and ability to be self-sufficient, with a potential for a six-figure income to the right motivated person. Since this is a service business that deals with clients, applicant must have good people skills, dress tidily and be workmanlike. No prior experience required, training will be provided on a daily basis but applicant must have a continuous life-long desire to learn. Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential.
