What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Pipeline Engineer-CISSP or CCSP position at Red Oak Technologies?
Cloud Pipeline Engineer with CISSP or CCSP or other Security certifications for Austin, TX for a 12-month Contract with possible extensions.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement secure CI / CD pipelines that integrate security tools and practices.
- Work with cloud platforms (like AWS or Google Cloud) to implement security best practices and controls.
- Automate security testing tools and processes (e.g., SAST, DAST).
- Utilize cloud security monitoring tools to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Work with development, operations, and security teams to promote security best practices and training.
- Assist in developing and maintaining incident response protocols within CI / CD practices.
- CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) AWS Certified Security, or other certified security certs - required.
- 5 years’ experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of security services (IAM, encryption, security groups, etc.).
- Previous experience in DevSecOps.
- Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
- CI / CD Tools : experience with Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Experience with Terraform for deploying infrastructure securely.
- Experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning, compliance, and penetration testing.
- Understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related fields.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Security, or other certified security certs - required.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
