Red River Brick is the premiere brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S. Drawing its name from the Red River of the South, Red River Brick includes eight production sites across key brick markets in Texas and Oklahoma, with more than 70 unique residential and commercial design offerings distributed through eight direct retail centers.
Red River Brick is seeking a Sand/ Texture Operator for our manufacturing facility in Elgin, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor sand coating and texturing equipment.
- Adjust sand feed rates, texture rollers, brushes, or applicators to achieve desired finish.
- Clean, inspect, and main equipment.
- Recognize and report problems, correct if capable
- Perform quality control checks and report inconsistencies.
Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Visual inspections
- Ability to read, write and understand instructions
- Proficient communication
- Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environment
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a desired but not required
Typical shifts are Monday through Friday 6:30 AM-5 PM, with occasional weekend shifts if production demands require it. Overtime can be expected.
