The Production Lead for the Roasting Department at our SunGold Foods location is responsible for overseeing daily operations related to roasting and seasoning sunflower seeds. This role ensures efficient roasting processes, meets quality standards, and aligns with production schedules.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead team members within the roasting department during shifts.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance to meet production targets.
- Train employees on roasting processes, seasoning techniques, and safety protocols.
- Provide regular feedback and address performance or operational issues.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the setup, operation, and monitoring of roasting equipment, including ovens, conveyors, and mixers.
- Ensure roasting temperatures, times, and seasoning processes meet product specifications.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust operations to meet deadlines and volume demands.
- Collaborate with packaging and quality control teams to ensure smooth transitions and consistency.
