We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Lease Up Community Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the lease-up process of a new property, ensuring that it is fully occupied as quickly as possible. This is a challenging and fast-paced position that requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the rental market.
As the Lease Up Community Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain tenants. You will oversee all aspects of the leasing process, including marketing and advertising, tenant screenings, lease negotiations, and move-in coordination. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and training a team of leasing agents, ensuring that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting leasing goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with previous experience in Class A/B lease-ups being highly preferred. You must have a proven track record of successfully leasing out properties and achieving high occupancy rates. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with a diverse range of tenants and stakeholders. Additionally, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the lease-up process, ensuring that the property is fully occupied within defined timelines
- Develop and implement effective marketing and advertising strategies to attract potential tenants
- Conduct thorough tenant screenings to ensure qualified applicants
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
- Coordinate move-in process, ensuring a smooth transition for new tenants
- Manage a team of leasing agents, providing training and guidance as needed
- Monitor and track leasing goals and performance, implementing strategies to improve occupancy rates
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on lease-ups
- Strong knowledge of local rental market and trends
- Proven track record of successfully leasing properties and achieving high occupancy rates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite

Pay: $69,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
