Requirements:
· Proficiency or willingness to learn the appropriate software (i.e. Adobe Audition)
· Detail-oriented and organized
· Excellent communication skills
· A farm background is a plus, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
Farm Broadcaster:
· On-air farm news and market reports
· Interviewing news sources
· Writing news stories for on-air and online platforms
· Ability to travel and cover meetings and ag events on regional and national level
· Ability and willingness to assist with technology/equipment
· Produce podcasts as needed
· Voice commercials and provide oversight to commercial production
· Assist with RRFN’s digital strategy, including website, social media and e-newsletter
· Interface with outside newsmakers, clients, radio affiliates
