Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Perform data entry and maintain patient records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow proper aseptic techniques in handling medications
- Assist with IV infusion preparations and administration
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Skills:
- IV certified preferred, but we are willing to train and provide this to the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of prescription abbreviations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with inhale medication administration techniques
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
