Position Summary
The Audio / Visual Specialist provides support in the areas of audio / video and technical communications. This specialist works with producers / directors on design, testing, installation and positioning of equipment and props for live events or meetings.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Sets up and adjusts audio-visual equipment and performs routine maintenance. Audio visual
- Hardware includes, but is not limited to : projectors, projections, teleconferencing equipment, sound systems and procedural trainers.
- Assists in editing tapes.
- Troubleshoots and fixes any problems that arise with any A / V equipment and be able to install and maintain all A / V equipment across AMO as requested by the Contracting Officer or COR.
- Maintains accurate record of equipment inventory and troubleshoots equipment problems.
- Works under moderate supervision.
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
