CDL Route Driver Equal Opportunity Employer MinorityFemaleDisabilityVeteran Red River Waste Solutions is an environmental services company that provides waste management solutions for the communities we serve As a company that serves many communities throughout the United States we are looking to add another team member to the RRWS family As a Commercial Driver License CDL Route Driver with Red River Waste Solutions you will be responsible for servicing assigned routes that has an average of 1000 scheduled stops that collects and hauls the waste andor recycling materials to a landfill site transfer station or recycling plant This position is a very physically demanding job because you will be routinely required to exert physical labor such as lifting pushing and pulling trash receptacles weighing up to approximately 75 lbs pounds from the ground multiple times throughout the workday Drivers canwill be exposed to extreme weather conditions and unpleasant odors and sights The hours and physical demands may vary by routearea RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate an RRWS truck follows the compliance of all local state and federal regulations as well as company policyThe Driver will conduct pre trippost trip inspections maintain and update the Driver Logs and Route SheetsProvide wasterecycling collection services based on assigned routes for customers by emptying trashrecycling containers into the truck and returning containers neatly back at the curb or designated area Assist in cleanup of waste spills andor overflowsComplete end of day duties such as haul the final collection to the disposal facility clean truck inside and out and return equipment to the job siteMaintain a high level of professionalism while representing Red River Waste SolutionsAttend and participate in all scheduled training briefings and meeting as required by Regional ManagerOther duties as assigned by the Regional ManagerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 21 years of ageMust be legally eligible to work in the United StatesHave a valid Class A or B CDLEntry level Truck Driver Less than 3 years of experienceHeavy Truck Driver More than 3 years of experienceMust be registered with DOTFMCSA ClearinghouseMust have a valid DOT medical card and the Driver cannot have more than three 3 motor vehicle violations within the last three 3 years Ability to work in all weather conditions perform physical labor and the ability to work overtime weekends andor holidays as neededMust be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate understand and respond to questions directions traffic signs signals and safety trainingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS General Mechanic skillsAbility to drive a truck that has either an automatic or manual transmissionAdditional skills may be required to perform additional tasks specific to work location department or line of business as requested by the Regional ManagerCOMPENSATION PACKAGE Competitive WageLow cost Medical insurance with Dental and Vision plans covered 100 for employee 401k Full Time employment after 6 months RRWS will match 50 cents on the dollar up to 6PTO after 1 year of Employment150 Red Wing Boot Voucher after 90 days of EmploymentQuarterly uniforms and RRWS gearPaid HolidaysDiscretionary Bonus ProgramThis job description is intended to describe the general nature complexity and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities duties andor skills required It does not prescribe or restrict the work that may be assigned Furthermore this does not establish a contract for employment and is subject to change at the discretion of the company Red River Waste Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race color religion age sex national origin disability status genetics protected veteran status sexual orientation gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by federal state or local laws This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment including recruiting hiring placement promotion termination layoff recall transfer leaves of absence compensation and training
