Job Title : Security Engineer

Job Summary :
Red River Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions for our government customer's information systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security technologies, protocols, and compliance frameworks, as well as the ability to assess vulnerabilities and deliver effective security solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform security assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications.
- Design, implement, and test comprehensive security solutions to protect sensitive data and systems, ensuring alignment with FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53 Rev 4 / 5 controls.
- Configure and integrate security tools and processes, including identity management, firewalls, IDS / IPS, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Develop and deploy security incident detection and response capabilities, vulnerability scanning, and compliance verification.
- Document security configurations, incidents, and security controls, supporting continuous monitoring, reporting, and alerting.
- Collaborate with O&M management, PMO, and architects to plan and implement security solutions in support of program execution and change requests.
- Contribute to disaster recovery solutions and assist with security compliance training and documentation.
