We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to our clients.
Job Description:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems. You will work closely with our team to resolve technical issues, perform system maintenance, and deliver top-quality customer service. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and experience in an MSP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Perform system installations, configurations, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the team to escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and workarounds in the knowledge base.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Use MSP-specific tools and platforms (e.g., RMM, PSA) to manage client services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, with at least 1 year in an MSP environment.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Experience with networking protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with MSP-specific tools and platforms (e.g., RMM, PSA) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.72 - $28.31 per hour
