Automotive Apprentice Technician

Red Rock Auto of Watford City is looking for an apprentice technician. Our family-owned Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer group is looking for individuals with a personal ambition and a strong work ethic to join our successful team.

This position is ideal for someone with basic tools and knowledge of vehicles with a desire for advancement to technician for the right candidate.

Job duties include:

• Assist senior technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Assist in disassembling and reassembling vehicle components.
• Drive vehicles to and from service area, service stalls and parking lot.
• Perform Recalls and fluid services when needed.
• Quality checks each vehicle prior to delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Keep service bays, floors and general service area clean and tidy.
• Replenish service supplies and fluids daily.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Toolbox and tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good communication skills

As an Apprentice technician, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry as well as getting paid for factory training for Chrysler, Dodge Jeep Ram. This is an entry-level position that offers growth potential and the chance to develop your skills as an automotive technician.
