What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Center Coordinator position at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services?
SUMMARY
Receives incoming calls, assists with completion of paperwork and provides follow up calls to discharged consumers. Routes callers to the appropriate person or makes referral to the community as needed. Delivers a high standard, efficient service and represents the organization in a warm and welcoming manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives incoming calls from individuals seeking services at the agency
- Completes identified initial paperwork with individuals
- Schedules intakes and completes appointment reminder calls
- Ensures quality care for all individuals with accurate and timely documentation, meeting all standards and quality improvement requirements
- Completes required reporting for outcomes
- Delivers positive internal relations with staff and community resources
- Provide feedback related to the Access Center process
- Provides all required documentation in a thorough and timely fashion
- Routes calls to appropriate staff person based on caller needs
- Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
- Supports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year experience answering phones in business setting
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Six months experience with consumer services in mental health/substance abuse setting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
