As part of our Guest Services team you will be involved with all guest related items, from prior to booking to after their stay, as well as making outbound sales efforts to drive business growth. You will ultimately help to ensure all guests' needs are met throughout the day alongside our team.
You’ll participate in regular meetings where you’ll be encouraged to lend your voice and ideas to the overall vision of Red Rock Vacation Rentals. As the fastest growing company in the industry here in Southern Utah, we are continually seeking ways to improve. Your focus and leadership will be mainly utilized within our reservations/guest services department, but all departments work seamlessly together to achieve our overall company goals.
Having excellent verbal and written communication skills is needed. Additional important skills include: proficient time management, conflict resolution, autonomy, compassion, and commitment to personal and team growth. A successful Guest Service Sales Specialist must be able to interact with many different types of people and learn how to recognize and meet each of their needs while continuing to provide them with excellent customer service.
Prior customer service experience is required (1 years). Extensive on the job training will be provided for all tasks required that are unique to the vacation rental industry and guest reservations. Being coachable, eager to learn, and having the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are helpful mindsets to being successful in this position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (seasonal hours may vary slightly)
Pay: $17 - $20 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls daily and assist guests in booking reservations
- Help to manage incoming reservations through various softwares
- Check and respond to inquiries and questions through a variety of messaging platforms
- Respond throughout the day to in-house guests through our text messaging platform
- Continually look for ways to improve our listings to capture more bookings
- Work with the entire team to find ways to improve the overall guest experience
- Manage outbound sales leads and accurately track results of those efforts
- Identify, pursue, and follow up on potential sales leads to drive business growth
- Manage payment processing
- Monitor guest requests and concerns
- Assess vacation rentals for guest readiness prior to arrival
- Assist with preparing for VIP guests
