The Hotel General Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving profitability. Duties

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve service quality.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve revenue goals.
• Lead, mentor, and train hotel staff to ensure high levels of performance and professionalism.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations during peak periods.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement or new services.
• Prepare reports on hotel performance metrics for ownership or corporate management.

Skills

• Strong background in Hospitality Management with experience in hotel or resort settings.
• Excellent Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Proficient in Budgeting and financial management practices within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with Night Audit procedures is preferred.
• Exceptional Phone Etiquette to maintain professional communication with guests and vendors.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing guest relations in diverse markets.
• Knowledge of phone systems and technology used in hotel operations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations while maintaining composure under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
