Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in hospitality management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest relations, performing night audits, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service to guests.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Utilize phone systems to respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise.
- Prepare daily financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures regarding guest services and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with night audit processes and hotel operations is a plus.
- Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
