Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, especially in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
