Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to fabricate solutions, and experience in facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Person will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership skills while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facilities to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and resolving electrical problems.
- Perform residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Fabricate components as needed to support facility operations.
- Operate tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and timelines.
- Weld metal components as required for repairs or fabrication projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Experience with logic controllers and electrical systems is an advantage.
- Leadership skills with prior supervisory experience in a maintenance role is desirable.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques and tools.
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
