As a Housekeeping Guest Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of hotel rooms within our high standards. This critical role requires collaboration with hotel teams to maintain room quality, safety, and security.
Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can:
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and other areas, adhering to our set expectations and processes.
- Rapidly replace dirty linens, clean bathroom and vanity areas, vacuum, and dust while providing excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with front desk staff regarding room information, maintenance cards, lost and found items, and discrepancies between stayovers and checkouts.
- Inspect room fixtures and accessories for proper location, operation, and function, reporting concerns to maintenance and front desk.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with:
- 1-2 years of previous customer service experience.
- The ability to perform some administrative duties, such as timekeeping and reporting.
- A professional appearance in the provided uniform and a consistently friendly attitude toward guests and staff.
- The ability to easily transition between tasks and work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
This role requires flexibility to work in various environments, including interior and exterior corridors, heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
While performing this job, you will frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. You will occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You must be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
