Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, to address various maintenance tasks effectively.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate repair schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including logic controllers, electrical systems, and plumbing issues.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Weld components as required for repairs or modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs made and materials used.
Skills
- Proficient in residential painting techniques and practices.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting various systems.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
- Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs.
- Electrical expertise to handle wiring issues, installations, and diagnostics.
- Excellent leadership abilities to manage staff and coordinate projects efficiently.
