As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel, ensuring high standards of hospitality and service while maximizing revenue and maintaining operational efficiency.
Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage revenue management strategies to optimize profitability.
- Supervise front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes and guest relations.
- Lead and develop hotel staff through effective training, performance evaluations, and motivation.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among employees.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel and attract new guests.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting, to achieve financial goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of revenue management principles and practices.
- Experience in human resources functions such as hiring, training, and employee relations.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff effectively.
- Multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Background in resort management is advantageous but not mandatory.
