Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through regular maintenance and repairs. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues effectively and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Operate and maintain logic controllers for automated systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns and requests promptly.
- Conduct residential painting and minor repairs as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
- Use an Ohmmeter for electrical testing to ensure safety and functionality of equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques and practices.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and team members.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices, including preventive measures.
- Experience in residential painting techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with CMMS for effective management of maintenance tasks.
- Supervisory skills to lead a team effectively during maintenance projects.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for various repair tasks.
