What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Red Rover Creamery?
WE NEED SUNDAY STAFF!* the ideal candidate is looking for a Sunday shift (11 : 30am-6 : 30pm) that allows some downtime for studying and the potential for additional weekend shifts during the off-season.
This position has the potential to grow as we head into our busy season next Spring and into Summer.
Red Rover Creamery is an artisanal ice cream shop in downtown Portsmouth looking for ice cream baristas to serve up our small batch, handmade confections.
As we head into the cooler months, we will be offering more baked goods and hot beverages. We put a lot of love and care into what we make and we are looking for a few enthusiastic people to carry on that love with our customer service.
This time of year our shop slows down a bit and this position is ideal for college or high school students that would enjoy a chance to study between customers.
Our menu is small, but mighty. It changes weekly and is driven by the season and the wonderful products we are able to source, both locally and from California, from which we hail.

An ability to work in small spaces with a high level of cleanliness is paramount.
