Essential Functions of the Job
- Perform complete packaging line and or process changeovers pertaining to electrical needs and be responsible for their start up after the changeover.
- Respond to all electrical related calls in the process and packaging areas as soon as possible.
- Support the implementation of a comprehensive electrical preventive maintenance program.
- To assist production on a need-be basis to enhance and improve product output.
- Provide electrical support for projects or building changes.
- Participate in the ongoing project of identification and documentation of electrical control systems that are not clearly identified including programming for SLC, PLC#2 #3 #5.
- Recognize safety as the number one priority.
- Identify and resolve safety hazards prior to shift start and throughout the shift.
- Participate in safety programs.
- Follow all procedures as outlined in the Korex Company’s Safety Rules and Policy.
- Follow all enzyme program protocols.
- Follow Confined Space rules and regulations.
- Keep the electrical workshop neat and orderly.
- Maintain an orderly inventory of necessary repair parts and materials.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skill/Knowledge Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- At least 5 years of electrical experience in a production/industrial background.
Physical Requirements
- Strong physical condition with the ability to lift, stoop, and meet the demands of the role.
- Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions
- This work environment includes indoor conditions with varying temperatures, noise, potential exposure to hazards like heat, chemicals, and airborne powders, and occasional contact with oils.
- The worker is required to wear all safety protective equipment required by Korex Corp. and/ or by the State of Michigan-Department of Labor.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
