Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing recommendations when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
- Excellent cash handling skills with a solid understanding of retail math.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
- Experience in catering is a plus but not required.
