Produce Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the freshness and quality of our produce section while providing exceptional customer service. Your organizational skills and ability to manage inventory will play a crucial role in maintaining an appealing shopping environment for our customers.

Duties

• Assist in receiving and unloading shipments of produce, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce section, ensuring all displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with their produce selections and answering any questions they may have.
• Monitor product quality, rotating stock to ensure freshness and removing any expired or damaged items promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a grocery or produce environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure product quality and presentation standards are met.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
