Job Summary:
The Field Service Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electric motor equipment at customer locations. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to determine and resolve issues.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with safety codes.
- Advise management on hazardous conditions, poor quality standards, or safety concerns that could impact customer service or workplace safety.
- Perform field activities such as removing and replacing rotating equipment, aligning equipment, and maintaining precision mechanical components.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Preferred experience in electrical service repair of rotating electric/mechanical apparatus.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance products and industry-specific knowledge is acceptable.
- OSHA & TWIC certification.
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past three years.
- Experience with cranes and rigging is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic math functions.
- Ability to understand, perform, and retain job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College-level education is a plus, with a preference for electrical engineering.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
