What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMS Project Manager position at Red Sun Technology?

Red Sun is looking for qualified candidates to fill our DMS IT Project Manger role with our client in Tallahassee, Florida, this position is 100% onsite. Our client requires a driver's license copy, with resume, 3 professional references and 3 projects worked on. This role is for US citizens, Green Card holders and valid visa holders. MUST BE LOCATED IN THE US!

Requirements


Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards - Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG- 1.009, F.A.C. Providing all documentation required. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.

• PMP Certification from PMI

• Experience managing IT projects over the last 5 years

• Successfully managed the delivery of web application projects over the last 5 years

• Managed large-scale vendor-based system implementations.

• Knowledge of / Experience with implementation of cloud-based electronic file and pay systems

• Experience with managing development of a customer-facing application project

• Knowledge of / Experience with RSI’s Government Premier SaaS tax solution

• Knowledge of / Experience in change management process and procedures (internal staff through

external customer base). This would include enterprise and public communication / training

planning and management.

• Experience integrating waterfall and agile project management methodologies.

• Knowledge of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

o Knowledge of the Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight

Standards - Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.

o Knowledge of ISO / IEC 20000 Information Technology Service Management

o Knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS-Project

o Knowledge of Microfocus PPM

o Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)

o Knowledge of JIRA

• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and schedule

o Ability to understand business functionality to support the project.

o Ability to manage multiple work streams on a project and keep them on schedule.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

o Experience managing diverse stakeholders and project teams

o Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing

o Ability to manage and resolve conflicts or disagreements in a constructive manner to

minimize negative impact

• Knowledge / experience in SAP and web application development technologies relevant to the

project.

o Understand the technical aspects of web application development, including front-end and

back-end technologies.

o Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.

o Ensure the technical feasibility and quality of project deliverables.

• Proven ability to solve problems creatively

o Excellent analytical skills

o Ability to research and investigate problems and develop viable solutions



Duties:


o Project Management for the e File & Pay Project

o Manage all aspects of the e File & Pay project across the enterprise

o Integration management: directing and managing all work for the project; monitoring and

controlling the project work and managing any necessary changes; facilitates cooperation and

motivates team members to accomplish group goals

o Scope management: Defining and managing scope and requirements; validating and controlling

the scope of the project

o Time management: Planning, defining, and developing schedules, activities, estimating

resources and activity durations; monitor the progress of a project; compare actual performance

against planned/scheduled performance; adjusts schedule / resources to ensure that key

milestones are reached

o Quality management: Planning and identifying quality requirements; performing all aspects of

managing quality; controlling the quality of deliverables

o Human Resource management: Planning and identifying human resource needs; selecting,

developing, managing, and coordinating a project team made up of multiple programs within

DOR and Vendor staff

o Communications and Organizational Change management: Planning and managing all aspects

of project communications; define the content and the format of project communications /

reports based on information requirements of specific stakeholders or groups; coordinate

organizational change communications internally and externally (to include instruction and

training where needed); ensure appropriate documentation is created/updated throughout the

project processes; provide knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical staff as needed

o Risk management: Planning for and identifying potential risks; performing qualitative and

quantitative risk analysis; planning risk mitigation strategies; implementing and managing

mitigation strategies

o Stakeholder management: Coordinating and maintaining stakeholders from a variety of DOR

and external entities and the public; planning and managing stakeholder expectations

o Managing the project(s) in accordance with the requirements the Florida Information

Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards - Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-

1.009, F.A.C. Providing all documentation required.

• Follow all Department, ISP, and team defined standards and procedures

• Performs other related duties, as required
