What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Security Architect position at Red Sun Technology?
Red Sun Technology is looking for qualified candidates to fill our Senior Security Architect role with our client in Michigan, this position is 100% onsite in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Our client requires a valid resume and 3 professional references. This role is for US citizens, Green Card holders and valid visa holders. Position is a 6 month to hire role.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level security architectures.
- Strong expertise in network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, routers, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, encryption technologies, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Experience with designing and implementing Zero Trust Architecture and other modern security frameworks.
- Deep understanding of security controls, standards, and industry best practices across on-premises, remote, and cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to create, enforce, and document security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a history of building and developing high-performing security teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with risk assessment and applying appropriate security controls for network and system architecture reviews.
- Familiarity with security tools for vulnerability scanning, network monitoring, and incident response.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent) preferred.
