We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our park. If you have a love for the outdoors and enjoy working outdoors, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
The Park Maintenance Worker position works as part of our maintenance team on all categories of park maintenance at Red Top Mountain State Park. Duties include electrical, plumbing, grounds keeping, janitorial, carpentry, and other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position working up to 28 hours each week.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and planting
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of park grounds including picking up trash and cleaning restrooms and group shelters daily
- Repairs on electrical and plumbing fixtures at campsites, cottages, group shelters, and other facilities
- Stock firewood and assist with other park duties as needed
- Assist visitors with park information, directions, and recommendations
