General Manager - Donation Centers

Job Description:

The 2nd Cycle General Manager will be responsible for the overall management of all 2nd Cycle Donation Centers, currently operating multiple sites with planned expansion into additional locations. Under the direction of senior management, the General Manager will lead efforts to create and enforce brand standards across all aspects of the business, including donor experience, employee management, marketing, safety, facilities, equipment, and reporting. The successful candidate will drive a culture of superior customer service and operational efficiency in all 2nd Cycle locations.

Travel: Up to 75%

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Promote brand compliance, consistent business practices, and superior service to all donors.
• Establish benchmarks, best practices, and brand standards in all areas of operations:
• Enhance existing operational protocols and procedures for scalability.
• Enforce brand compliance and maintain consistency across all locations.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of each 2nd Cycle location, including performance ranking, best practices identification, and recommendations for improvements.
• Improve site effectiveness through recruitment, selection, training, coaching, counseling, and discipline of employees.
• Leverage technology to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
• Support 2nd Cycle Managers in daily operations, including scheduling, payroll, donor experience, vendor management, and troubleshooting.

Minimum Training & Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience managing a team of employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet Explorer).
• Willingness to travel approximately 75%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing a multi-site operation.
• Exposure to Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience supervising staff providing direct services to the general public.
