General Accountant at Red Willow Production Co.
We are seeking a highly skilled General Accountant to provide general accounting support, prepare journal entries, and perform coding reviews and reconciliations of selected General Ledger accounts. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for the reconciliation of bank statements and supporting the monthly close process.

Red Willow Production Company is a private oil and gas exploration and production company owned by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and headquartered in Ignacio, Colorado. Founded in 1992, it operates on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation as Red Willow Production Company. Off the reservation, it operates under several LLCs, most notably Red Willow Offshore, LLC, and Red Willow Production, LLC. We have grown significantly since inception and are now one of the top 25 largest privately owned oil and gas companies in the US.
- We hold an interest in over 1,800 operated and non-operated wells with net production in excess of 70 billion cubic feet of gas equivalent per year.
- The San Juan Basin remains the backbone of our operations, while we also have a significant interest in projects in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico and are actively developing assets in the Delaware basin in West Texas and other onshore regions.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- At least 3 years of experience in general accounting
- Preference will be given to qualified Southern Ute Tribal members and other Native Americans
