Summary
This position requires advanced application of petroleum engineering skills principally in the areas of chemical program management, production surveillance, well optimization, and well intervention. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, this position has broad responsibility associated with optimizing field performance, depletion, and asset retirement. Responsible for conducting project evaluations and supporting internal processes associated with budgeting, approvals, and post-appraisals.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with five to ten years’ experience in petroleum engineering;
OR
- a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering AND a Master of Science/Master of Engineering Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with three to eight years’ experience in petroleum engineering.
- Must have onshore production engineering experience with a proven track record of delivery in the areas of chemical management, production operations, well optimization, and well intervention.
