Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB :
Promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Through an approved maintenance facility conduct routine maintenance schedules for the mobile unit
- Perform and maintain daily logbooks, travel tracking and mobile unit inspections as described by the Department of Transportation and Red Wing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Prepare, load, and unload stock to be placed on mobile unit and in warehouse for the day’s business
- Maintain proficiency with product knowledge, technical, and operating standards through continuous learning
- Adhere to all mobile operations as defined in each SOP
- Mobile Operating Expense : inventory, cash, truck maintenance, travel, and other areas that will directly affect the profitability of the mobile unit
- Guide each customer through RWSC’s Ultimate Fit Experience
- Provide appropriate accessory recommendation, educate customers on the benefits of each
- Ensure proper handling of special orders placed during the day’s truck run
- Collaborate with industrial team regarding planning and execution of the day’s truck runs
- Truck and inventory will be based in the Kent / Auburn area.
