Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at the St. James Hotel. As a Line Cook, you will assist the Chef in preparing and executing delicious meals according to our seasonal menus while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety. If you have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
- Prepare all foods for daily service in accordance with seasonal menus and health / sanitation guidelines.
- Cook hot and cold food products accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in food and final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing.
- Ensure proper portioning and cooking of all menu items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Communicate effectively with the Chef to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Address guest complaints and problems professionally to ensure satisfaction.
