Broker Developer (On-site, NY Tri-State Area)

Redan LLC is looking for a Broker Developer to be part of a growing team.

The Broker Developer will support full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment / work engagement services, and claims systems with established standards, ensuring all solutions align with the agency's mission and objectives.

Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be adaptive to the changing needs of the organization. This candidate must have experience with building and maintaining highly effective relationships with team members and multiple stakeholders across multiple projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Broker Developer at Redan, you will :

Be involved with the design and development of integrations
Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using IBM middleware technologies (IIB / ACE, Data Power, and MQ).
Perform odule development using IIB / ACE Toolkit and creation / validation of WSDL and JSON.
Build APIs to exchange data between systems, for accuracy, maintaining data integrity and consistency between systems by creating system of records in the backend.
Create message flows in transforming XML messages to JSON, also JSON to XML messages using Message Sets / Static libraries.
Test, deploy and troubleshoot integrations.
Design and Implement Web Services in IIB / ACE to implement SOA based services using SOAP nodes and HTTP Nodes [HTTP Input / HTTP Request / HTTP Reply].
Implement Asynchronous HTTP calls with HTTP Asynchronous Request and Response nodes.
Work with MQ Nodes [MQ Input / MQ GET / MQ Reply] for receiving the input and sending the output to target applications.
Develop SOA, EAI, Web Services and workflow-based solutions for quick response time.
Develop the Queue based guarantee delivery and retry mechanism in case of any exceptions from the backend systems.
Be involved with the creation of message sets based on the different message formats.
Work on File Nodes [File Input and File Output] to process files-based messages and storing the output to a file.
Create message flows in updating and retrieving data from Oracle PL / SQL database.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, to ensure no / minimal disruption to business operations.

Profile of Success

Required :

Minimum 4 Years Experience in SDLC including middleware technologies.

Minimum 4 Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce.

Minimum 4 Years Understanding of current and emerging middleware technologies and the best practices.

Minimum 4 Years Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills.

Minimum 4 Years Ability to build partnerships with other stakeholders inside of the IT organization.

Minimum 4 Years Experience working in a team environment on large applications; (b) team leadership; (c) can demonstrate their knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology.

Minimum 4 Years Excellent experience with Java / JEE development

Minimum 4 Years Strong knowledge of RESTful services, SOAP services, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath.

Minimum 4 Years Strong knowledge of MQ Queues, channels, and MQ attributes.

Minimum 4 Years Working experience with certificates (SSL), Public / private keys.

Minimum 4 Years Strong experience with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, IBM integration Bus (IIB), APP connect Enterprise (ACE), Toolkit, IBM MQ Explorer, and Oracle SQL Developer.

Minimum 4 Years Strong experience working with JAVA, IBM's JAVA based Extended Structured Query Language (ESQL), and development tools such as IBM Integration Toolkit, IBM MQ Explorer, and Oracle SQL Developer Oracle Business Process

Minimum 4 Years Management (OBPM), IBM Data power, IBM WebSphere Message Broker, and other integration technologies.

Conditions of Employment

US Citizenship or Green Card is required.

A minimum of 4 years' position-related experience is required.

Must be able to work on-site 5 days / weekly

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
