Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler with at least two years of hands-on experience. This role involves performing both bench and assembly line tasks, including electrical wiring and plumbing, to build our products. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively with the team.
Responsibilities
- Install control and distribution systems, including switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays
- Test continuity of circuits using instruments like ohmmeters, buzzers, batteries, and oscilloscopes to ensure safety and compatibility
- Identify and replace faulty wiring or components while documenting defects for future repairs
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Secure components using bolts, clips, screws, and other fastening methods
- Perform basic fabrication tasks using hand tools, drills, grinders, and measuring equipment
- Build wire harnesses and control boxes while selecting appropriate wire gauges and fuses
- Design wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for modifications and expansions
- Install and connect motors, pumps, holding tanks, and custom components, including cutting and bending stainless steel tubing and CPVC for watertight connections
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical or trade work
- High attention to detail
- Physical endurance to handle the demands of the job
- Strong team player who collaborates well with technical staff to solve challenges
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings in relation to bills of materials
- Skilled in using fabrication tools, including grinders, measuring instruments, and drills
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to perform dimensional calculations
- Familiarity with shop safety protocols and best practices
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks independently
Preferred Experience
- Background in auto mechanics
- HVAC experience
