Job Summary
We are seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our team and implement landscaping, pest control, and herbicide application. This role involves traveling all over the US for 2-3 weeks at a time for 8-9 months in the year (winters are off).
The ideal candidate will be able to navigate challenging situations, address mechanical issues, and work independently. A strong work ethic and integrity are essential.
Duties
- Carry out maintenance to keep walk-behind mowers, brush hogs, and weed-whackers operational
- Conduct pest control, apply herbicide, and perform landscaping
- Drive in different terrains and weather conditions, such as sand, off-road, and mud
- Do on-the-spot repair for small engines and outdoor equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in prior outdoor role (farming, landscaping, and other jobs are essential)
- Excellent driving skills and the ability to do off-road navigation
- Mechanical aptitude
- Clean driving record
- Committed to traveling for 2-3 weeks at a time
- Able to work independently and solve problems in locations with limited service
- Physically fit and willing to work in various kinds of weather
- Strong work ethic that does not give up in the face of adversity
- Eager to work as a partner in a growing company
- Experience with herbicide is a plus!
