As a Volunteer Embark Intern the student will assist in recruiting, encouraging, and supporting volunteers of Answers in Genesis (AiG). This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.

- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
- Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
- Participate in life skills development courses provided for Embark Interns
- Participate in Learning & Development apologetics training
- Serve in the attraction operation departments to display our SERVE core value
- Promote the volunteer opportunities available to guests
- Invest in building relationships with and showing appreciation to volunteers
- Assist in the vetting process for potential volunteers
- Work with volunteers and volunteer group leaders to match ministry needs with volunteer ability and availability
- Provide support and input into other areas of the AiG ministry, as requested
- And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church
- Ability to work independently; self-motivated
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with the management team
- Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits
- Must be currently pursuing a degree
- Proven record of personal volunteerism
