Position Summary:
The Senior Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the creative vision for both digital and retail experiences for the Redbarn and Pawstruck brands. This position is responsible for guiding the creative team in the conceptualization, design, and execution of all marketing materials across both digital and print channels. The Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Brand, and Product teams, to develop and implement creative strategies that align with brand goals and elevate the brand’s identity across multiple touchpoints.
This role requires an experienced leader who can drive the creative process, maintain brand consistency, and ensure all creative projects meet high standards of quality and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Duties:
- Lead the design direction and development of creative elements across both digital and retail channels, ensuring cohesive brand presentation and communication.
- Develop, manage, and mentor the creative team, guiding creative projects from conceptualization to execution.
- Oversee the design and production of digital assets for websites, emails, social media, digital advertising, and marketplaces, ensuring a consistent and engaging consumer experience.
- Oversee the design and production of retail assets, including packaging, trade show displays, point-of-purchase materials, and other print collateral.
- Work closely with the Director of Omnichannel Experience to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across both digital and retail channels.
- Ensure that all creative work adheres to brand guidelines, industry best practices, and meets user needs across all channels.
- Develop and execute packaging design concepts and iterate designs as the product line evolves.
- Conceptualize and implement creative for trade shows and other sales-related initiatives.
- Produce and deliver accurate pre-press files for print production, as well as ensuring final digital assets are optimized for their respective platforms.
- Continuously monitor trends in both digital and print design to ensure the brand stays innovative and relevant.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of designers within the Creative Department, providing clear direction and support for team members.
- Monitor the quality of all creative assets to ensure adherence to brand standards, industry best practices, and design specifications.
- Lead and direct outside agencies as needed.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience as a graphic designer, 3 years in a senior role, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital and print design.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Manage time and projects effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines within controlled budgets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining creative excellence.
- Expertise in digital graphic design with a focus on UX, UI, and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience with photo image manipulation and retouching.
- Comfortable managing and nurturing creatives in-house and externally when required.
- Proven track record in creating and executing compelling brand campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Expert mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Be on top of current and future trends with a focus on brand-building and storytelling.
- Maintain brand consistency while also meeting usability and accessibility standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet business and user needs.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills with both leadership and team members.
- Able to accept constructive criticism and feedback for work.
