Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry for upscale hotel to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a hotel environment.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing guest rooms and common areas.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines with care.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the work area.
- Assist in special projects or additional cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred, particularly in a hotel setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $15.14 - $16.00 per hour
