REMOTE POSITION - IN STATE OKLAHOMA, NEW MEXICO, TEXAS, ARIZONA PREFERRED

Redbud Advisors is a full service cannabis accounting and tax firm serving clients across the country. We value the cannabis industry and contribute to the cause. If that's emotionally or morally wrong to you; you are not a good fit for us.

We are looking for honest, accountable, trustworthy team members. We respect eachothers' time and opinions. We have a hands-off management approach, but have clear and specific expectations and deadlines.

Our work environment is remote and allows employees autonomy to choose when they work and where they do their work. We will train in the specifics of cannabis accounting, but there will also be work with many non-cannabis clients as well.

Only applicants that take the indeed tests will be reviewed.

We are looking for someone with the following areas of experience :

Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis

Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner

Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments

Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition

Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data

Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards

5-10 years at least relevant experience in bookkeeping

Quickbooks Online experience

Google Drive experience a plus

Experience with accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger

High degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail

We are hands off company, but expect quality work. Working remotely requires strong self motivation - self starters are a must!

Recording Refinance

Quarterly Payroll Reports

Monthly Sales Tax Reporting

Monthly Inventory Valuation

Monthly Accrual Calculations

Vendor 1099s

Year End Employee Payroll - W2s
