REDCOM, LLC, an award-winning Design / Build Construction firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Engineering Department. We are a thriving team of 50 professionals located in a state-of-the-art facility just steps from downtown Westfield and the NYC train station.

What Youll Do :

As a Senior Civil Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include :

Client Relations : Foster strong, professional relationships with clients.

Site Plan Design : Lead the design and development of comprehensive site plans, including all associated report preparation.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all designs meet state, municipal, and county guidelines and agency requirements.

Approval Process Management : Facilitate the approval process across multiple agencies, including engineering cost estimates and coordination with outside design professionals.

Team Leadership : Mentor and train junior engineers, guiding them through site plan design and approval processes.

Collaborative Communication : Coordinate with land use attorneys, clients, and municipal and state engineering teams.

What Were Looking For :

Experience : 10 years in land development, civil site plans, and drainage design.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software (e.g., HydroCAD).

Leadership Ability : A passion for mentoring and developing younger engineers.

Client-Facing Skills : Ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders and navigate complex approval processes.

Licensing : NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Desired Qualifications :

Strong background in drainage and hydrology design.

Experience testifying before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment.
