About the Internship
We are seeking a Summer Intern for the Operations Department to join our corporate office team. This internship offers hands-on experience in business operations, financial analysis, and route planning for service technicians. The intern will work directly with the General Manager and have the opportunity to shadow multiple departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales, for a well-rounded experience in the pest control industry.
Responsibilities:- Assist in reviewing and analyzing Profit & Loss reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support route planning for service technicians to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in operational projects that drive business performance and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and team members to gather data, create reports, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Shadow and gain exposure to various operational areas, including Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support operational functions.
- Some travel may be required to visit branch locations.
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
