We are a fast paced office seeking a well-organized, self-motivated, computer savvy individual with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical front desk operations including schedule management, answering/returning phone calls, preparing encounter forms, verifying insurance eligibility is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant medical software
- Exceptional patient service and customer service skills including the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with staff, physicians, facilities and patients
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage medical records and perform clerical duties efficiently
- Obtaining insurance authorizations including RAF's
Summary
As a Scheduling Coordinator/Receptionist, you will be essential in managing patient appointments and providing outstanding administrative support within a medical office setting.
