Job Description

We are a fast paced office seeking a well-organized, self-motivated, computer savvy individual with attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in medical front desk operations including schedule management, answering/returning phone calls, preparing encounter forms, verifying insurance eligibility is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
  • Proficiency in EHR systems
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant medical software
  • Exceptional patient service and customer service skills including the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with staff, physicians, facilities and patients
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage medical records and perform clerical duties efficiently
  • Obtaining insurance authorizations including RAF's

Summary

As a Scheduling Coordinator/Receptionist, you will be essential in managing patient appointments and providing outstanding administrative support within a medical office setting. Reporting to the Office Manager, your core skills in medical administrative support and front desk operations will ensure efficient patient service and accurate handling of medical records. Your premium skills in EHR systems and HIPAA compliance will enhance the quality of care provided. Additionally, your relevant skills in Microsoft Office and customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment, making you a vital part of our healthcare team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
