Senior Client Partner, Mid-Market (Goods)

We're looking for a sharp, positive, and motivated self-starter to join our Mid-Market team in New York! The Sr Client Partner will work closely with advertisers the News Publisher, CPG, Retail, Pharma and Automotive verticals and will be responsible for forming relationships with key brands and ensuring they meet their business objectives using Reddit's advertising suite.

The person in this role is required to be based in the New York City, NY area and should be available to work from the NY office 1-2x per week.

Core Responsibilities

• Client Management & Growth
• Develop and deepen relationships with existing advertising partners (agencies and direct clients) to drive year-over-year revenue growth.
• Identify and close new business opportunities within existing client relationships, including new lines of business.
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with new clients, educating them on Reddit’s advertising solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating major platform updates, releases, and opportunities.
• Strategic Planning & Execution
• Own client meetings from agenda to final presentation, ensuring clear expectations, actionable outcomes, and follow-ups.
• Construct and execute upfront and joint business plans with top clients.
• Provide proactive, consultative advice to help clients achieve marketing and business goals using Reddit solutions.
• Leverage data from internal and external sources to inform client strategies and proposals.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
• Partner with Account Managers to create long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.
• Build and leverage strong internal relationships to develop cohesive account strategies, aligning client goals with Reddit’s business objectives.
• Share industry, client, and product expertise by mentoring and training team members.
• Operational Excellence & Thought Leadership
• Take full ownership of your book of business, including strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and operational rigor.
• Advocate for customers by providing feedback on sales processes, narratives, and products to improve team effectiveness.
• Shape Reddit’s ad product roadmap by aggregating and sharing client insights and campaign performance metrics.
• Represent Reddit as a thought leader in the industry and at key events.
  

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in digital media, 2-5 years of experience in media sales
• Proven experience managing relationships up through C-level executives
• Industry expertise in specific verticals (News Publisher, CPG, Retail, Pharma and Automotive), product types, and/or measurement solutions
• Deep existing relationships within the agency and client direct space
• Subject matter expertise in the social media landscape and native advertising
• Experience building and executing long-term account growth strategies
• Demonstrated top-performer achievement against sales targets
• Ability to lead special projects
• Ability to manage and scale a book of business greater than 20 accounts
• Positive outlook, team player
• Demonstrated high achievement against sales targets
• Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and will also be eligible to receive a commission. The Base Pay Range For This Position Is

$124,700—$174,600 USD
